Forza Motorsport 7 fans! It’s time for some new FM7 #Forzathon December 18 – January 11th challenges and rewards! Hopefully, you’ve been able to keep up and complete the previous Forza Motorsport 7 #Forzathon events that have happened so far.

This #Forzathon event started on December 18th at 9:30 a.m. PT and most of the challenges close at (presumably) 9:30 am PT on January 11th with the first one wrapping up on January 4th. It’d be nice if all the tasks for each Forza Motorsport 7 #Forzathon event ran for a set period like the Forza Horizon 3 events instead of being staggered, but we’ll take what we can get, won’t we?

So just what are these “challenges” that you have to complete? Check out the complete task list and rewards below for the newly added challenges:

  • Coming To Town: Complete all Challenges to receive the 2012 Aston-Martin V12 Zagato
    • Ends January 4th
    • Complete 3 Laps in Prague
    • Complete 3 Laps in Rio de Janeiro
    • Complete a race on the Dubai City Circuit
  • Heavy Duty Steering: Complete all Challenges to receive the Freezer Burn Driver Suit
    • Complete a race with Braking Line Only
    • Complete a lap on Spa at night
    • Complete a Race in a Forza Group Rally Division car in the Rain
  • Meet and Greet: Complete all Challenges to receive the 2015 Jaguar XKR-S GT
    • Change your Driver Gear
    • Complete a Drag Race
    • Complete 5 Laps on the Test Track Airfield
  • Forzathon World Tour 1: Complete all Challenges to receive the 2012 Ferrari F12berlinetta
    • Complete 3 Laps on Brands Hatch in a British Car
    • Go at least 120 mph at Homestead Miami in a 1957 Chevy Bel Air
    • Complete a race on Suzuka in the ’92 Honda NSX-R

This time, each task set only has three challenges before you can get your reward so it should be a bit easier going. The “Coming to Town” challenge set is definitely easy enough, just grab your favourite car and complete 3 Laps in Free Play on the shortest tracks on Prague and Rio de Janeiro. Finally, head to Dubai, select the City Circuit track and set the race to a timed 30-second race and the Aston-Martin V12 Zagato should be yours.

“Heavy Duty Steering” will be equally easy, again head to Free Play, set races to timed 30-second races. For the first challenge, set your assist to Braking Line only. For the second, head over to the Spa circuit and select one of the night tracks and set the race length to one lap, complete the lap and you’re all set. Finally, for the last make sure you are using a Forza Group Rally Division car on a track in the rain to get that snazzy new Driver Suit. Speaking of Driver Suits, did everyone get their Gears of War 4 suit for playing Gears as well?

The next set of challenges, “Meet and Greet,” has perhaps the easiest challenge to date: simply change your driver gear! Once you’ve done that, head to Rivals, select Drag Race, and complete one of those then head over to the Test Track Airfield in Free Play to hit up five laps on that course to snag the Jaguar XKR-S GT.

Finally, the 2012 Ferrari F12berlinetta is up for grabs with the “Forzathon World Tour 1” set of challenges. Completing 3 laps (again in Free Play) on Brands Hatch in a British car is easy enough, as is completing a race (Free Play > Timed > 30 seconds) on Suzuka (after you complete the second challenge in the set, of course). You may have to purchase the ’92 Honda NSX-R if you don’t already own it, or you should be able to rent it as well. The second challenge might be the hardest as you’ll have to hit 120mph (194 km/h) in the 1957 Chevy Bel Air on the Homestead Miami track. Again, if you don’t own that vehicle you’ll have to purchase or rent it for the race.

There have been some posts in the past noting that challenges don’t pop all the time and some users have found that quitting the game and restarting it popped the previous challenges. Complete a lap on a Free Play race after completing a Forzathon challenge also causes it to pop. We’re not sure if this issue has been fixed yet so if you have issues with challenges registering you can always try restarting the game.
