Netflix is making it easy for parents once again with their fourth annual Netflix NYE Countdown featuring kid-friendly shows featuring their favourite characters. Nine kid-friendly New Year’s Eve Countdowns will be released on the streaming service tomorrow, December 26th, and be available until January 31st.
Parents can choose from NYE Countdowns featuring returning characters from Trollhunters, All Hail King Julien, Skylanders Academy, Puffin Rock, Word Party, and Beat Bugs. This year, there are three new countdowns with appearances from Pororo, Larva, and True and the Rainbow Kingdom. Choose from your kid’s favourite, fire it up, and tuck your kids in early. In fact, Canadian parents fired up the Netflix NYE Countdown earlier last year — around 7 p.m. — while the previous 8 p.m. average peak viewing time in 2015.
In addition, it’s even easier to find the Countdowns on Netflix this year. A new, celebratory “2018” icon is being added to the Kids row which will give parents and kids quick access to all nine countdown videos. Searching “New Year’s Eve Countdown” or simply “Countdowns” will also bring up the relevant videos for easy access.
