The CES announcements continue to pour out at a staggering pace, though for us, and undoubtedly for our readers, this is like Christmas… just a few weeks after actual Christmas. BRAVEN Audio has just announced the Villa Connect speaker, their first Wi-Fi speaker with Google Assistant built in. The speaker was officially announced as part of the CES show, and we ought to get a look at the speaker once the show opens. Based on what we’ve already seen from BRAVEN Audio, I’ll bet it sounds fantastic, and with Google Assistant functionality it will only add to the quality of the product.
Multiple speakers can be linked to provide whole home audio and far-field microphones will allow for voice recognition and commands to be detected from room to room. The Villa Connect will be available Q2 2018 with an expected MSRP of $199.99 USD.
