Lenovo unveiled their Mirage Solo and Mirage Camera with Daydream at CES 2018

|

Just when you thought Lenovo was done showing off at CES 2018 here comes the Mirage Solo and Mirage Camera. This is Lenovo’s take on VR consumption and creation allowing users to both create VR content and watch it. The Solo is a standalone VR headset without the need for a phone or cables and it features WorldSense. WorldSense frees the user from external sensors which allows for ducking, dodging, side-step, and jumps. Lenovo says the Solo offers a 110° field of view which should be nice and wide for most users.

Meanwhile, the Mirage Camera captures VR photos and VR video with its dual 13MP fisheye cameras and its 180° x 180° which allows you to capture and experience in-depth stereoscopic photos and videos. Lenovo says the Camera is easy to use and integrates with Google Photos and YouTube using the specialized VR180 format. You can also live stream in 3D with the Camera. Here’s the overview and specs of these new devices from Lenovo:
