HP’s ZBook x2 mobile workstation was made with creatives in mind

The HP ZBook x2 was announced back at Adobe Max last year but HP talked to us at CES 2018 about one significant upgrade: expect the ZBook x2 to start shipping with the latest 8th generation Intel Quad-Core i7’s late January or early February. This is great news for those who need to edit 4K video in Adobe Premiere Pro. The extra cores and horsepower are really going to come in handy. If you’re not familiar with this new mobile workstation made for creatives, here are some of its features.

One thing of note with this device is its striking design. It’s certainly not going to appeal to everyone but it caught my eye as it’s far from the usual normal laptop/hybrid slab. I love the cut corners and the industrial looking back stand and the matte screen is wonderful. This is certainly a machine creatives may gravitate to not to mention others who just need the power and love the design.

As mentioned above, the HP ZBook X2 is expected to start shipping later this month or earlier in February, with a starting price of $1749.
