PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, or PUBG for short, has hit 4 million players on the Xbox One console in just over a month after its “Game Preview Edition” release. The Xbox One console exclusive (it is also available on PC) was released on December 12 of last year and hitting that many players already is pretty impressive.
As a way to say thanks to the community, bonus Battle Points will be awarded to anyone who creates a character in PUBG on the Xbox One before January 31.
To show the community our appreciation for your support and feedback, we are rewarding players with 30,000 Battle Points to purchase cosmetic crates in the game. Anyone who has purchased or purchases PUBG on Xbox One and has created a character before January 31 at 12AM PST will receive this bonus, so if you’ve been waiting to jump onto the island, now is the perfect time to become a part of our growing community on console. While the online multiplayer last player standing battle royale game preview on the Xbox One has been marred with lag and other issues, many other outlets hailed it as a great start. Some of these have even given it a perfect 10/10 score even though it is in an unfinished state. We haven’t had a chance to dive into it yet here at Techaeris, but once we do you can be sure that we’ll be posting our thoughts on the game. That being said, the game has already had six content updates on the Xbox One with various gameplay, optimization, and bug fixes.
