Dinosaurs, dragons, mythical beasts… humanity has always been fascinated by these and now’s your chance to hunt some strange and exotic creatures in Monster Hunter: World. The action RPG game will let you hunt solo or with up to three other hunters in co-op mode.

In Monster Hunter: World, follow the journey of the elder dragons as they begin their once a decade migration across the sea to a land known as the New World in an event referred to by inhabitants as the Elder Crossing. As part of the Guild’s Research Commission, players must embark on a grand journey to this massive, mysterious land and uncover the secrets behind this phenomenon. As hunters set out on their quests, the Commission’s sights are set on Zorah Magdaros, a colossal elder dragon that rises from the earth like a volcano.

The game features a robust crafting system and skill-based progression and allows players to drop in and out of co-op games mid-quest. Slaying monsters bestows materials upon the hunters so they can craft strong armour and weapons which feature unique abilities based on the monster from which they were obtained. In addition, those who play the game on the PlayStation 4 will have access to exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn collaboration events starting today through March 8th with a second event planned for February 28th through March 5th. The first content update is planned for the spring and will include the Deviljho monster and more additions to the game.

Monster Hunter: World is available in three editions: Standard, Digital Deluxe, and Collector’s. The Deluxe Kit includes a samurai set, 3 additional gestures, 2 additional sticker sets, an additional face paint, and an additional hairstyle to customize your character. The Collector’s Edition includes all that as well as a Nergigante figure, Monster Hunter: World soundtrack download code, and a Monster Hunter: World artbook.
