The Xbox Play Anywhere title, Super Lucky’s Tale, joined the Xbox Game Pass at the beginning of March. What’s more, Playful Corp. has announced a DLC add-on pack for the game, “Gilly Island.”
Lucky is back and this time he is in “Gilly Island,” an all-new chapter of the game set in a tropical paradise which just so happens to be in need of some rescuing. What’s more, Super Lucky’s Tale is now part of Xbox Game Pass. Members can spend hours enjoying the game and, for additional adventures with Lucky, please check out “Gilly Island,” available for separate purchase.
I never did end up picking up the game at launch, but recently took it for a spin via the Xbox Game Pass and it’s turning into a fun little adventure platformer. Players control Lucky, a curious, energetic fox who is stuck inside the Book of Ages which he must save from Jinx and his evil Kitty Litter gang of cats. “Gilly Island” continues after the events of the main game when the Book of Ages once again pulls Lucky back in. This time, Lucky finds himself in the tropical Gilly Island resort and must go up against Lady Meowmalade to save the island.
While the base game can be played for free for Xbox Game Pass members on both the Xbox One or Windows 10 PCs, “Gilly Island” costs an additional $4.99USD/$6.49CAD. Super Lucky’s Tale is also available for $29.99USD/$39.99CAD and is currently close to 30% off if you wish to purchase it.
