FH3 #Forzathon April 6-12: “Spring is Back!”

Another week, another #Forzathon event — this time celebrating the return of spring, which, depending on where you live, might still be running a little late! The FH3 #Forzathon April 6-12th event gives you a chance to pick up the usual Credits and XP (no Wheelspins this week) as well as the Porsche Cayman GTS. In case you missed the update a few weeks ago, it’s also playable in 4K 30fps glory after the recent Xbox One X Enhanced patch for all you Xbox One X owners out there.

This FH3 #Forzathon event started today, April 6th, at 12:01 a.m. PT and closes at 11:59 pm PT on April 12th so you have until the wee hours of April 13th (depending on your time zone) in order to complete the challenges.

Check out the complete task list and rewards below:

  • Spring Speed: Perform 20 Speed Skills to win 35,000 CR
  • Drizzle Driver: Complete a Race to earn 35,000 XP
  • Bounding Around: Perform 10 Kangaroo Skills to receive 55,000 CR
  • Fresh Skills: Perform 5 Ultimate Skills Chains to receive the Porsche Cayman GTS

After last week’s Drift Taps, there’s nothing here this week that’s not super duper simple. I’d start off by completing a short, one-lap race during which you should be able to get a couple Speed Skills. Next, head to the open stretch of highway and race up and down to get the rest of the Speed Skills and most likely your 5 Ultimate Skill Chains as well if you throw in some near misses, drifts, and the like to hit 20,000 skill points (not including multiplier) to pop the Ultimate Skill Chain message. Once you see it pop, stop to reset your skill points and repeat four more times. Finally, head south of the airport or you can head over to Redstone Gold Mine or Pink Lakes to get those Kangaroo Skills (three Air Skills in quick succession) completed.

What do you think about the “Spring is Back!” FH3 #Forzathon event? Are you still playing Forza Horizon 3 on a regular basis or has your focus shifted to Forza Motorsport 7? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+Twitter, or Facebook.
