NES Classic Edition returning to stores in June

When it was first released back in 2016, the NES Classic Edition was a hot commodity and sold out fast almost everywhere. It was such a hot ticket item that prices quickly soared from resellers trying to make a quick buck. Unfortunately for consumers, Nintendo in its infinite wisdom decided that there wouldn’t be much demand for it and made it a limited edition run.

It was, however, followed up with the equally popular SNES Classic Edition which featured a different set of games. Unlike its predecessor though, the SNES version has been fairly readily available at suggested retail prices.

For those of us who didn’t get a chance to snag the original NES Classic Edition to sate our nostalgia will have another chance again next month. It sounds like Nintendo is ramping up production again and is stating that both the NES and SNES Classic Editions will be available through the rest of 2018.
