The Huawei MateBook X Pro available in the United States

Huawei’s mobile division has been having its share of trouble in the U.S. market but that’s not stopping them from marching on. The company has announced the availability of the Huawei MateBook X Pro in the United States. The MateBook X Pro has caused a stir in the tech community with its sleek design, look, and under the hood performance. With all of the controversy surrounding Huawei, some didn’t think this device would make it to the U.S.

This laptop features an 8th generation Intel core, premium audio with Second-Gen Dolby Atmos sound, and a 57.4Wh battery. There will be two model available, here’s a quick synopsis of what they’ll be packing.

  • $1,499.99USD for Intel Core™ i7 processor, 16GB of memory, 512GB solid-state drive and NVIDIA® GeForce® MX150
  • $1,199.99USD for Intel Core™ i5 processor, 8GB of memory, 256GB solid-state drive and Intel UHD Graphics 620

Both of these models are available online at Amazon,  Newegg, and Microsoft. They will be coming to stores near you on May 23rd if you’d prefer to see them in person first. Both models will have two color options, Space Gray or Mystic Silver.

Huawei and retailers are throwing in an enticing deal for the MateBook X Pro. Consumers who purchase either one of these devices between May 21 and June 10, will receive a $300 gift card from that retailer for a future purchase.

The way that reads to me is: you’re basically going to get a $300USD gift card for a future purchase and you will not be able to use it for the purchase of this device. Still, that’s a pretty fair deal and you can pick up some nice stuff for $300USD.
