John Wick: Chapter 3 adds Halle Berry, Anjelica Huston, and more

Entertainment / Movies

Several new casting announcements came out recently, and it’s hard not to be excited.

John Wick seemed to come almost out of nowhere back in 2014. I somehow managed to miss it entirely, only getting in on the action once the movie was available for purchase. It was a fantastic movie, carried by Keanu Reeves, Ian McShane, and Willem Dafoe. The 2017 sequel added even more star power with the likes of Common, Laurence Fishburne, and Ruby Rose. John Wick: Chapter 3 has upped the ante significantly, adding some incredible actors including Halle Berry, Anjelica Huston, and many, many more. May 17, 2019 can’t come soon enough!

Several new casting announcements came out today, and it’s hard not to be excited. Halle Berry announced via her Instagram account that she’d be part of Chapter 3, portraying a character known only as Sofia.

Anjelica Huston doesn’t tweet or Instagram much, but she passed along the official announcement from the John Wick twitter account. Huston will be The Director (not to be confused with movie director Chad Stahelski) and really, just wow… the remaining actors aren’t quite as iconic but it’s still going to be great to see what they bring to the movie.

Also joining the cast is the Iron Chef America Chairman himself, Mark Dacascos. Dacasos will play an assassin named Zero while Jason Mantzoukas joins the cast as the Tick Tock Man and Orange is the New Black alum, Asia Kate Dillon, joins the cast as the Adjudicator.

John Wick: Chapter 3 resumes immediately after the events of Chapter 2. Wick will be on the run, and we’ll have to wait and see how these new additions to the cast help or hinder his progress.

What do you think about these cast additions? Are you looking forward to John Wick: Chapter 3? Tell us what you think in the comment section below, or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
