We love leaks, especially when they involve a new phone or new technology in general. We all also love when companies post a picture or info on their site “by accident” and then pull it right away — but aren’t fast enough before someone snags a screenshot or other info before said device is released. In the latest case of leaks, HTC wasn’t fast enough to get remove what is and could be their new flagship device: the HTC U12+.

According to the leaked page, the phone will boast a 6-inch QHD+ (2880×1440) Super LCD6 display. HTC isn’t following the 2018 trend of having an OLED screen on their device and, no, there will not be the dreaded notch up top either. So, for all those people who haven’t embraced the notch yet, this is one device you can openly embrace.

The phone will also come with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6GB RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. You’ll also be able to expand the storage up to 2TB with a microSD card. Looking at the battery, you’re getting a 3,500mAh to get you plenty of usage throughout the day. Included is an IP68 rating for water (up to 1.5 meters) and dust resistance.

Since the device has high-end specs, you’re looking for a high price tag too. The device drops in at or around ¥5,888, or $924USD. It’s definitely much higher than some other flagship devices out there today, but hey, that’s what HTC wants to price it at.

The HTC U12+ isn’t being officially unveiled until tomorrow, May 23rd, so we should still take this info with a grain of salt until HTC takes to the stage and unveils this device.
