Leak shows off what Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL could look like

, ,

As we break into the summer, we’re looking toward the fall for the release of the latest flagships from the likes of Google, Apple, and Samsung. As we do, rumors are trickling in. Today, a rumor for Google’s Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL phones has surfaced in the form of leaked screen protectors.

As per usual, this rumor should be taken with a grain of salt. But even so, it’s fun to delve into what could be for the third generation Pixels. The photo of said screen protectors hit Weibo yesterday. You can see it below.

From what we can see the Pixel 3, the smaller of the devices, will follow closely in its predecessors footsteps. Like Apple and Samsung devices, Google appears to be pulling out all the stops with its larger device. The Pixel 3 XL will sport a notch. Love them or hate them, it appears that they’re here to stay.

It also looks like both devices will be packing larger front facing cameras. Not only that, but it appears that both devices have front facing speakers. Media enthusiasts will be happy about that. The Pixel 3 XL appears to also sport an edge-to-edge display, short of the bottom bezel.

Whomever posted the leak on Weibo has since deleted it. They deleted the account as well. We’re not sure of the screen size for either device, so whether they’re bigger or not is anyone’s guess. But one thing is for certain, the closer we get to the device’s debut, the more leaks we’re bound to get.

Do you think this is a legitimate leak for the upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL? What would you like to see the third generation Pixels carrying spec-wise? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
