It’s that time again for another edition of “Where is Xur, and what is he selling?” This weekend, July 20-24th, Xur is over at the Giant’s Scar landing zone over on Io, so spawn in and make your way towards him. Take a look below to see what exotics Xur is selling this week in Destiny 2.
What is Xur selling this weekend?
- Fated Engram – 97 Legendary Shards
- Coldheart (Trace Rifle) – 29 Legendary Shards
- Helm of Saint-14 (Gauntlets) for Titan Class – 23 Legendary Shards
- Graviton Forfeit (Helmet) for Hunter Class – 23 Legendary Shards
- Vesper of Radius (Chest Armor) for Warlock Class – 23 Legendary Shards
- Three of Coins – 31 Legendary Shards
Weapon: Coldheart Trace Rifle
An exotic weapon that was once an exclusive gun when Destiny 2 originally came out back in September 2017, Xur is now offering it to those who don’t have it even with it being available to everyone thanks to the Curse of Osiris DLC. If you’ve never used a Trace Rifle before, it shoots a constant beam at enemies or players in PVP. There are two perks to Coldheart, first, Cold Fusion which will do Arc damage from the beam that is fired. The second perk, Longest Winter, will let Coldheart do more and more damage the longer it’s on target.
Titan Gear: Helm of Saint-14 (Gauntlets)
The Starless Night perk causes your Ward of Dawn to blind enemies who walk inside it. Of course, using your Sentinel Sheild will do the same thing as this exotic armor. It’s definitely a pass this time, but if you need it for your collection, go ahead and purchase it.
Hunter Gear: Graviton Forfeit (Helmet)
The Vanishing Shadow perk Graviton Forfeit comes with will increase the length of your invisibility skill and cause your melee ability to charge faster while you’re invisible.
Warlock Gear: Vesper of Radius (Chest Armor)
Also, part of the Curse of Osiris DLC, Vesper of Radius comes with an alright perk that may or may not be useful in certain situations. The Planetary Torrent perk causes a shockwave when you place your Rift. Your Rift will also recharge much faster when enemies are around you.
As always, these exotic items have a power level of 305 (base 300 with +5 mod) so for those with a lower power level, this should help you out.
