It’s that time again for another edition of “Where is Xur, and what is he selling?” This weekend, August 24-28th, Xur is over at The Rig landing zone on Titan, so spawn in and make your way towards him. Take a look below to see what exotics Xur is selling this week in Destiny 2.
What is Xur selling this weekend?
- Fated Engram – 97 Legendary Shards
- Riskrunner (Submachine Gun)– 29 Legendary Shards
- Mk. 44 Stand Asides (Leg Armor) for Titan Class – 23 Legendary Shards
- Ophidia Spathe (Chest Armor) for Hunter Class – 23 Legendary Shards
- Eye of Another World (Helmet) for Warlock Class – 23 Legendary Shards
- Three of Coins – 31 Legendary Shards
Weapon: Riskrunner
Riskrunner was one of the first exotics that we got to see when the Destiny 2 beta came out. It’s a fast gun to use, like most submachine guns and great to have if you don’t have it already. The perk Arc Conductor will increase weapon power when you take Arc damage. Plus, when the Arc Conductor perk is active, shots fired will have the chance to become chain lightning and return ammo.
Titan Gear: Mk. 44 Stand Asides
These exotic boots aren’t necessarily new, but they were brought back with the “Curse of Osiris.” Its main perk — Seriously, Watch Out — grants an overshield when sprinting at full health with Seismic Strike, Hammer Strike, or Shield Bash equipped. Hits with these abilities recharge a portion of your melee energy.
Hunter Gear: Ophidia Spathe
The perk Scissor Fingers lets you two knives per charge, which means the players gets two charges for their melee while also getting two charges upon recharge. It’s not a bad exotic piece, if you’re down for using two knives that aren’t really all that powerful.
Warlock Gear: Eye of Another World
Eye of Another World is a good armor to have as the perk — Cerebral Uplink — highlights priority targets and improves the regeneration speed of your grenade, melee, and rift abilities.
As always, these exotic items have a power level of 305 (base 300 with +5 mod) so for those with a lower power level, this should help you out.
