It’s near impossible to keep anything under wraps these days and even Google is not immune. NieuweMobiel.nl has obtained what it says are official press renders of Google’s upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones.

Set to be unveiled on October 9th, the leaked press renders confirm design changes already leaked in photos over the past month or so. They may also put to rest the rumours that Google was releasing fake leaks into the wild to mislead the tech community on what the Pixel 3/3 XL would look like.

At any rate, the renders, if official, confirm that the larger 6.2″ Pixel 3 XL will have the “dreaded” notch, while the smaller 5.4″ Pixel 3 will not. Both have dual front cameras and are sticking with a single back camera with the fingerprint scanner centered on the upper back.

Shown in a textile case, the other interesting tidbit that can be gleaned from the renders is the addition of the Google Assistant icon on the right hand side of the Google search bar on the bottom of the home screen.
