Located in the Oak Lawn area of Chicago, Chimera’s Comics could be yours after the owner has decided that he can’t give it the attention it deserves. Chimera is looking for someone “who will love it, someone with passion and ideas and ambition to make this store amazing” to take over ownership.
Now is your chance to seize your destiny. Live your dream. No more “buts” or fears or “what ifs” or “if only.” I will remove the barrier to you and your dream. Are you brave enough to take it?

So just how can you walk away with an entire comic shop of your own complete with a 1,500 sq. ft. location, inventory, fixtures, and customer base? Simply submit a response to the question “What makes a great comic book store?” in 500 words or less, accompanied by a small application fee of US$25.
The giveaway closes on February 28th OR when Chimera receives 2,000 applications — whichever comes first. Once closed, he will then read through each response and choose the best answer, so if you’re thinking of entering, make sure you put your best foot forward!
