BioWare and EA’s upcoming release of Anthem is just around the corner and EA has announced that a live-action short for the game, directed by Neill Blomkamp, will be released tomorrow morning.

Based on the teaser above and the fact that it was directed by Blomkamp (director of District 9, Chappie, and Elysium to name a few) are really the only reasons you need to watch the live-action short tomorrow.

Developed in collaboration with BioWare and Blomkamp’s Oats Studios, Conviction “explores the vast world of BioWare’s Anthem through a new narrative set decades before the beginning of the game.”

In case you’ve been living under a rock, BioWare’s latest drops on February 22nd, with early access hitting Origin Access Premiere and EA Access on Xbox One this Friday, February 15th.

“In Anthem, players must venture into an evolving, living world and battle the dangers that threaten the safety of the people in Fort Tarsis. Through exploring the world, completing missions, and protecting humanity, players are introduced to intriguing characters and a unique BioWare story.”
