Marshall announces Major III Voice with Google Assistant

Marshall is well known for its guitar/bass amplifiers and speaker cabinets and other musical gear but they’ve also jumped into the world of consumer audio. The company started releasing headphones just a few years ago and the Major III Voice has become one of its most popular models. Now, the company has upgraded the Major III Voice with Google Assistant.

We’ve reviewed a few of Marshall’s consumer audio options and have been very impressed with what we’ve had our hands-on. While we didn’t get out hands on the Major III headphones, if they were anything like the Monitor Bluetooth headphones then we’re certain they were great. The Major III Voice brings back all of what was in the previous version but with the Google Assistant.

One major feature returning on the Major III Voice is the battery life. We were impressed with the great battery on the Monitor but these headphones should keep you jamming for 60-hours. That is impressive.

Marshall Major III Voice

Major III Voice features 40 mm dynamic drivers that have been optimized and carefully tuned to give improved sound characteristics. The headphones have a clear and distinctive sound without any compromise of power at lower frequencies. Major III Voice is a modern classic re-engineered with a straight fit headband, slim 3D hinges, and soft ear cushions. While thicker loop wires with reinforced rubber dampers contribute to the overall solid build quality.

With the multi-directional control knob, you can play, pause, shuffle and adjust the volume of your device, as well as power your headphones on or off. Phone functionality is also included so you can answer, reject or end a call with a few simple clicks.

Major III Voice is available for pre-order now for US$169. The new headphones will be available for purchase at selected Marshall retailers around the world and online on Marshall’s website.
