Venom #5 review: He’s got wings!
As far as the various Venom series go, I have to say that this is my favorite Venom book so far.
As far as the various Venom series go, I have to say that this is my favorite Venom book so far.
I really liked this issue, I just wish it had been about 20 pages longer to really be able to flesh out the scenes so they didn’t feel so rushed.
The story by Nick Spencer is light, fun, and just an all-around enjoyable read.
Is this event worth the entry fee? That’s going to be an individual answer based on your collecting.
The art by Trevor Hairsine & Ryan Bodenheim looks great.
The next issue concludes Harbinger Wars 2 and I hope it comes and goes quickly.
Without a doubt, this is the BEST book that Valiant is currently putting out.
I’m not sure where this book is headed and that’s part of the joy of it. I’m in it for the fun ride and so far, that’s exactly what it has been.
From the look of it, The Dark is definitely going to be a monthly read for me!
I’m okay with a tinge of the political but this book is just overt now and I’m no longer enjoying it
Should you buy this book? The answer is a resounding YES! Get in on the ground floor to what promises to be a fun ride through the Spiderverse!
If you’ve stuck to this story up until now, then you might as well finish it off.
The art is beautiful and suits the mood of the book perfectly.
He has a legacy of inspiration that goes right along with his legacy for creation.
I just can’t get into the story because it’s been done before so many times
I’ll recommend this because it updates Spidey in ways that are modern, yet holds to the personality of the Peter we all love and know.
This is a good mini-series so far and if you are a fan of either Spawn or Witchblade then this is for you.
Spawn is a solid long running book that even when it becomes shaky still has far more positive reasons to keep following than negatives.
In the latest issue, the body of Doff (lover and fellow reporter to Upsher) is finally found.
In the last issue, Livewire plunged America into darkness, shutting down all of the technology in protest over how psiots were being treated.
Quantum & Woody! is a hilarious book with tons of one-liners and plenty of action.
If you don’t know, X-O Manowar is a Visigoth King, taken from his home in the past by aliens called the Vine.
There is no word as to if any of these digital exclusives will ever go to print in physical form, so digital is the only way you will read them.
I’ll admit, this issue isn’t the best book to come in on. You really need to go back and start with number one.
The best part about the story was seeing how Shadowman got his weapon from the Abettors.
Ninjak is my favorite Valiant character, in fact, this is my favorite current comic book character!
So should you buy this comic? Uh… YES. What are you doing? Read our review below and then go buy it!!!
Scooby Apocalypse is a nice change of pace from the more “hero tinged” comic book norm.
