Microsoft wants to use their popular Xbox Live platform as well as Skype and MSN to run political ads targeted at their users based on the data collected from those services. The Washington Post is reporting that Microsoft was handing out promo materials at CPAC that outlined and presented the idea. There’s no question that there’s money to be had in political advertising, on both sides of the aisle, and the political season is upon us.
Hackers gained access to Microsoft’s email service for three months
Microsoft has sent out an email to a “limited subset” of users using services like @msn.com, @hotmail.com, and @outlook.com who have been affected.
