Bracketron introduces the SmartLantern, a charger and light combo being marketed towards emergency preparedness. The SmartLantern’s high-capacity 7800mAh rechargeable back-up battery offers 48 hours of flashlight or lantern illumination or up to five full charges to your USB-powered mobile device. The battery can store its charge for up to one year for added peace-of-mind in home or vehicle emergency preparedness kits.  The SmartLantern’s impact-resistant, fireproof housing and portable design ensure that power will always be available even in the most extreme circumstances.

The 2.1A USB port fully charges most mobile phones, tablets or MP3 players within two or three hours. The compact, high-output LED lantern is perfect for use in roadside emergencies or for the outdoor recreationalist looking for some extra light.  For added functionality, the lantern globe slides down to create a flashlight for more focused lighting.
