J.P Harvey gives his review of War Crimes by Christie GoldenWar Crimes is an epilogue of sorts to the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandoria expansion.

Movies

It’s finally a go! Marvel’s Ant-Man starring Paul Rudd has begun filming!

TMNT ruled the box office for a second week in a row. Is it enough to mark a solid return of the ’80’s franchise?

Has hell frozen over? Rumor has it that Disney is working on releasing another version of the Star Wars trilogy on Blu-ray – this time in their complete, unaltered, original form.

Optimized-The Rock Main
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

More rumors – this time Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson confirms he’s landed a role in a DC comics Shazam movie.

Benedict Cumberbatch is putting on his villain boots again (or should I say his tiger stripes?) – this time for Disney’s The Jungle Book: Origins.

Who doesn’t like fast, sporty looking cars? J.P. Harvey ran across this 2006 Ford GT and snapped some pics of it.

Gaming

Tired of waiting for a remake of your favorite game? Turns out Shenmue is getting a fan-made HD remake!

Joshua Rubin, a writer on Bungie’s upcoming Destiny game, has moved on to join Telltale Games. He made the move there to work on their upcoming Game of Thrones RPG. Hopefully they don’t take as long to release it as Martin has in releasing The Winds of Winter!

Last week we got wind that Blizzard would be immortalizing the late Robin Williams in a future update to it’s World of Warcraft MMORPG. Nintendo on the other hand is remaining tight-lipped on whether or not they’ll pay tribute to Williams in an upcoming Legends of Zelda game.

Optimized-P.T.-Demo

A teaser for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham surfaced at Gamescon. Who doesn’t like a good LEGO game?

Yikes! Minecraft has failed Sony’s certification process for the PS4. This could put the August release date in jeopardy.

Diablo III has been around for awhile – first on PC, then Xbox 360 and PS3. Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition finally launched for the next-generation consoles. Chris Wieninger – who hasn’t played Diablo III yet (where has he been???) – picked up a copy and gives us his initial impressions on the Xbox One version.

Star-Wars-Commander-iOS-Mobile-Game
Star Wars: Commander launched on iOS. Where’s the Android version?!

Disney has released Star Wars: Commander for iOS. Apparently an Android version is coming soon, but I’m sure that hasn’t stopped Android users from feeling a little butt-hurt again!

A gamer over on Reddit spotted a new feature in the September Xbox One Dashboard Preview – “Free Play Day” for Max: The Curse of Brotherhood. Looks like Xbox is testing the waters on giving Xbox Live Gold members a day to try out featured games before purchasing. Microsoft later issued a statement telling people to “move along… nothing to see here.”

It’s finally here! Xbox One pre-ordering & pre-loading arrived earlier than expected with the upcoming Madden NFL 15.

How time flies! SNES turned 23 this weekend. We’ve come along way since then, but check out Matt Lyons’ thoughts on the very popular console of yesterday.

It appears Blizzard is working fast on getting Robin Williams into the upcoming Warlords of Draenor expansion – placeholder models based on Williams are already appearing in the data files for the expansion.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge – and added a twist to it. Check out how Wilson enticed others to take up the challenge.

We love Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. here at MOARGeek. Turns out the latest Marvel character to join the cast this upcoming season will be none other than Mockingbird.

Woah! What the heck is going on over at Mythbusters!?! Kari Byron, Grant Imahara, and Tory Belleci have left the show after a decade. What gives?
