With just three days to go until Apple unveils their wares in California, MOAR iPhone 6 leaks have emerged. This time MacRumors has some pictures of a working iPhone 6 and even video of the user opening Touch ID. Check out the pics and video after the break.
UPDATE: MOAR PICS
This version looks much more complete than previous leaks we’ve seen and is probably the real deal. One of the interesting thing of note is the homescreen appears to have room for another row of icons (insert Android joke here). This would make sense given that the screen is much larger. The overall look is inline with everything that has been leaked including that protruding camera lens. We will have to have hands on time to really give an opinion on that but it still bothers me. According to MacRumors the about screen does show this unit running iOS8 so my hopes for an overhaul redesign are shot.
Overall the look of the hardware is great, I’m more than positive people will like what they’ll see but I always come back to iOS, getting past the grid of icons into a more user controlled environment should be part of Apple’s focus. Let’s hope the next version or versions of iOS will mature into that.
