Virtual reality is another one of those emerging technologies that is still in its baby stages. The Oculus Rift has been getting good press and Samsung has even jumped into the game with Samsung Gear VR. Now AirVR wants to strap an iPad Mini (or iPhone 6 Plus) to your face and immerse you in its version of VR. This Kickstarter is seeking $20,000 on Kickstarter for the project and is nearly at $14,000 at the time of this writing with 26 days to go. The idea is interesting but I’m not completely sold on it, check out their promo video below.

New technology is always cool but there are just some things I’m not much for adopting early. AirVr, Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR all look awesome but the tech just isn’t “there” for me. But I do understand some people’s excitement for these products and it’s awesome that the early adopters will make the future of the tech better for later adopters. You can hit up AirVr’s Kickstarter to find out more about their project and maybe even jump in on the ground floor. What do you think of the future of Virtual Reality headsets like AirVr and the other offerings? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+, Facebook and Twiiter.
