Black Friday is creeping up on us ever so quickly and this Walmart Black Friday Windows tablet deal looks like it might be worth it. Walmart will be offering a Windows 8.1 tablet made by Nextbook Efun for a door busting $99. These types of prices are usually reserved for lower end Android tablets so it’s interesting to see a Windows offering this year. The Nextbook 8 seems like a moderately spec’ed 8″ tablet that would make a great entry level tablet for students, kids or just someone who wants to browse the web and email.
With 16GB of internal storage, a microSD memory expansion slot (apparently there’s already a 16GB card in the box making this a 32GB tablet), Intel Atom quad-core Z3735G processor and 1 GB of RAM. This thing isn’t going to compete with higher end tablets but it’s still very usable. The company is also throwing in a 1 year subscription to Office 365 which comes with 1TB of One Drive cloud storage space. All of that for only $100. The one caveat that may keep Walmart Black Friday shoppers from picking this up is the app ecosystem but even so, at $100 they just might fly off the shelves anyway. What do you think?
