House Of Cards Season 3 Returns To Netflix On February 27, 2015

|

Set your calendars, House of Cards fans! The popular Netflix series announced that House of Cards season 3 will drop on February 27th, 2015.

The tweet’s video is simple, but effective given the style of the show. A silent 12 second clip of Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright walking up the stairs to an aircraft, the Presidential Seal seen above one of the windows, before the date fades in.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, House of Cards is a Netflix political drama starring Kevin Spacey as Frank Underwood and Robin Wright as his wife, Claire. The power couple scheme, bribe, and claw their way up the U.S. political ladder in a well produced and filmed series. One of the biggest charms of the series, in my opinion, is the frequent monologues by Spacey’s character which add just the right amount of extra background, and quite frequently snark, to the story line.

If you haven’t watched it yet, you owe it to yourself to catch up on the first two seasons before the third season arrives in February. At 13 episodes a season, it won’t take you long.

As with previous seasons, it is expected that the third season will drop all its episodes at once, which is great news for those of us who love to binge through the show in a weekend – only to complain that we’ll have to wait an entire year for the next season! As Frank Underwood so elegantly puts it:
