Halo fans have been waiting in anticipation for the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta to begin, and begin it has. Starting today, owners of the Halo: Master Chief Collection can access the Multiplayer Beta until January 18, 2015.
The Multiplayer Beta features 4v4 red vs blue combat and features seven different maps and three game modes. Any content unlocked for Halo: Nightfall and Halo: The Master Chief Collection in the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta will carry over to the Halo 5: Guardians when it launches in the fall.
As for the pre-orders, there are three Editions available.
Standard Edition for $59.99 – Halo 5: Guardians plus an exclusive poster, only available to those who pre-order.
Limited Edition for $99.99 – Everything in the Standard Edition plus new digital content to enhance Spartan combat and exclusive items wrapped in a uniquely designed steel book.
Limited Collector’s Edition for $249.99 – Everything in the Limited Edition as well as additional content such as a commemorative numbered statue designed by 343 Industries. More details on the design to be shared at a later date.
I don’t know about you, I enjoy me some Halo but $250 for a Limited Collector’s Edition seems a bit steep. Wonder what that commemorative statue is made of?
