Newest Inside Out Trailer Hints At The Disney Pixar Film's Plot

|

The latest Inside Out trailer debuted early Tuesday morning, showcasing the upcoming film from Disney Pixar about the emotions, or voices, inside us all. First appearing on Ellen thanks to stars Bill Hader and Amy Poehler, the 88-second trailer gives us our first hint at a plot, and Lewis Black wanting to swear in a kids movie.
Based on this brief glimpse into the film, it looks as if a lot of the plot is set up by the main emotion, Joy, accidentally losing several of the (still unnamed) main human character’s short-term memories. We already know from a previously released synopsis that a big part of the plot is the human characters moving to a new house, so losing all of your recent memories in the process could understandably be pretty traumatic.

Three out of PIxar’s last four films have been sequels – Monsters University, Cars 2, and Toy Story 3 – with 2012’s Brave being the only new IP. For the first time since 2005, Pixar did not put out a film in 2014 in large part due to another upcoming Pixar film, The Good Dinosaur, being delayed several times throughout production. Originally scheduled to be released in May of 2014, The Good Dinosaur will now be released on November 25, 2015. Should everything stay on course from here on out, Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur will both be coming in 2015; marking the first year that two Pixar films do so.
Inside Out is set to release on June 19, 2015 and stars Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Bill Hader, Phyllis Smith, and Lewis Black as the voices of various emotions inside the main little girls head. It is written and directed by Peter Doctor, who also wrote the original stories for Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., WALL-E, and Up. He is also working on the recently-announced Toy Story 4.
