We’re getting ever closer to season 3 of Orphan Black, the programme which showcases the amazing talents of Tatiana Maslany as a series of clones with unique characteristics, and it’s time for another teaser.
This time there are nearly two minutes worth of intriguing set-up and clues are dropped in the first glimpse of the season 3 premiere. Sarah is visiting one of the male clones (played by Ari Mullen) in a holding cell, apparently at his request. He clearly admires her, calling her a legend, but also threatens all of Sarah’s family, especially with his chilling remark “Count your sisters.”
The male clone also hints that Sarah is, in some way, involved with the Dyad Institute in this season, which could be an interesting turn of events (although Sarah denies being too closely linked).
Also released earlier today was a brand new 30-second teaser, which shows the potential return of a missing clone.
Orphan Black is set to return to BBC America on April 18, 2015 for its third season, riding the wave of critical acclaim that has carried it through its first two.
