Infinity Runner by Wales Interactive is the latest indie game to be ported to the latest consoles and brings the first-person endless runner to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the Wii U. Endless runners have long been a staple of mobile gaming, and now gamers can experience a first-person endless runner with a twist on their consoles.

“We’re proud to be releasing our next-gen title, Infinity Runner, which is the very first PS4 and Xbox One game to be developed entirely in Wales! This is our best version of the game yet with new stylised visuals, DualShock4 SixAxis controls, 56 Trophies/Achievements, 1080p/60fps and a price that matches a London pint!” – Ben Tester, Wales Interactive.

In the game, you play as a prisoner trying to escape from The Infinity, a starship which is over 150 miles long and 30 miles wide. Meant to be a new home for humanity, the spaceship instead has become a floating nightmare in which you must escape from the last remaining werewolf as he stalks the ship. While most endless runners consist of running, jumping, and sliding, Infinity Runner adds parkour and mixed martial arts combat to the mix.

The sci-fi action runner includes 14 levels with story and arcade mode which are sure to keep you busy for some time to come.

Previously available for PC, Mac and Linux, the aptly named Infinity Runner is now out for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and will be released for the Wii U at an (as of yet) undetermined date.
