Fallout 4 Confirmed (Sorry Half-Life Fans)

Gaming / PC / PlayStation / Xbox

After teasing us yesterday with a website featuring a countdown timer, speculation surrounding a Fallout remastered collection or a Fallout 4 game has been laid to rest as Bethesda Softworks released a trailer for the upcoming Fallout 4 this morning.

Without further ado, you can check out the official in-game trailer in all its glory below.

I gotta say, love the juxtaposition between the past and the present and the lead up to the introduction of (presumably) the main character in the game. Bethesda Softworks hasn’t offered anything else in the way of details, but we do know that the game will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The company will be showing off more of Fallout 4 – the first game in the Fallout series since Fallout: New Vegas back in 2010 – during their E3 Showcase on Sunday, June 14th at 7:00pm PT so be sure to tune in then. In the meantime you can head over to the Fallout 4 website to sign up for promotions or pre-order the game.

Personally, I’m stoked to see that the countdown was indeed for Fallout 4 and not just an HD remake/re-release for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 – there’s already too many of those for games that we’ve already played on last-gen consoles.
