Before Lenovo bought Motorola Mobility from Google, they had been making smartphones for the Chinese and overseas market for awhile. A few CES’s ago we had the chance to try out some of Lenovo’s phones and we found them to be impressive. The phones were all well designed and all used quality materials for construction. With the purchase of Motorola, Lenovo opted to leave their branded lineup out of the US and concentrate on Moto here. It’s really too bad because Lenovo does have excellent phones. The Lenovo K3 Note is a budget minded phablet that will set you back around $159 and that’s not a horrible price for what you get. Unlocked for Worldwide use. Please ensure your local area network is compatible. Click here for the Network Frequency of your country. Please check with your carrier/provider before purchasing this item.

While Lenovo does have a huge success in the Moto lineup, it doesn’t mean they have given up on their branded phones and you would be hard pressed to find a phablet sized phone coming in around $159. Well, hard pressed to find one from a mainstream company such as Lenovo. The K3 Note is constructed of plastic all around but it’s not cheap looking or unreliable. From the looks of it the K3 Note is a solid build but on a friendly budget. If you like phablet sized screens the full 1080p FHD screen on this thing doesn’t look all that bad. The battery clocks in at 3000 mAh the same size as the new Galaxy Note 5 battery so you should have enough juice to get you through the day.

Overall the K3 Note looks to be a solid phone. Lenovo has been making a reputation for itself over the past few years by bringing quality and craftsmanship back to its products. The K3 Note is likely not an exception to the rule.
