Vysor – Control Your Android From Your Desktop

|

Android developer Koushik Dutta (Koush) has developed a new app to allow users and developers to control an Android device remotely. Vysor allows you to fully control your Android on your desktop across operating systems and is a pretty useful tool if you’re doing work and don’t want to fiddle with your phone, simply use your desktop. But one of the main features of Vysor is the share remote screen feature which is useful for collaborative work on an app, theme or what have you.

The headline feature of Vysor is Vysor Share. You can share your device to another Vysor user, across the office or across the globe. This means screen and ADB. This is something I’ve wanted as an indie dev for a long time: a way to deploy and debug on a remote tester’s device. It’s as easy as sending a link.

Vysor is indeed a timesaver if you’re responding to messages in messaging apps from your computer rather than the device itself and having use of the mouse is also a benefit.Vysor has a myriad of applications but it seems developers might benefit from this more than most with the share options. You can check out Vysor at the link below and be sure to let Koush know what you think and provide feedback on the product.

Is Vysor something you would use? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+, Facebook and Twitter.
