In addition to the over 100 songs already announced for Guitar Hero Live, Activision and FreeStyleGames have officially announced three Avenged Sevenfold songs that will be playable in the game. The songs, “Shepherd of Fire,” “Buried Alive,” and “Nightmare,” will be playable in the GHTV Premium Shows mode of Guitar Hero Live.

The Premium Shows feature in GHTV include playable live concert footage, new GHTV music videos, and more and are unlocked by completing various in-game challengers. Completion of the Premium Shows will give gamers guitar upgrades, player cards, note highways, and other unlocks – some of which are exclusive to specific premium shows.

The three Avenged Sevenfold tracks will feature concert footage recorded during their headline performance at England’s Download Festival in front of 70,000 fans. Fans who pre-order Guitar Hero Live will get access to the bonus content including the Avenged Sevenfold premium show and a custom note highway just for starters.
