What’s In The Box!? Loot Crate: September 2015 Edition

|

Welcome to yet another edition of What’s In The Box!? Today we’re tackling the Loot Crate: September 2015 Edition with a monthly theme of Summon. During the build up toward this month’s crate, the folks at Loot Crate teased items from big franchises like Pokémon and Warcraft. Other franchises include The Simpsons and Supernatural as well. But just what exactly are we getting in this month’s box that pertain to these franchises? Let’s find out.

Pikachu Beanie

Show off your love of catching them all with the Pikachu beanie. The beanie is soft and comes with dangly Pokeballs. The hat itself is Pikachu, complete with his ears.

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft Hearthstone stress squeeze

Blizzard’s take on the trading card game has been a runaway success and as such, Blizzard threw in multiple items from Hearthstone  in this month’s Loot Crate. The first item is a stress squeeze in the shape of a Hearthstone. Those who played World of Warcraft know the Hearthstone as a clickable item that teleports players back to their inn of choice. Well, you can’t use this to teleport to an inn of your choosing but you can use it to relieve some stress.

Supernatural 1967 Chevrolet Impala Sports Sedan 1:64 die cast car

A show about two brothers who lost their mother and were trained by their father to hunt demons and monsters, the brothers travel the world in a black ’67 Chevy Impala. Known as Metallicar by fans, you can now have a 1:64 scale model replica of it.

The Simpsons Homer Golden Buddha

What’s there to say other than if you want to achieve enlightenment, having a golden Buddha in the form of everybody’s favorite cartoon father may just do the trick.

Hearthstone Expert Card Pack Code and Master Summoner mobile game

The second Hearthstone item in this month’s crate is a code for an expert code pack in the game. The code is on the back of a thick cardboard cut out of an actual Hearthstone card. Not only that but you get access to a Loot Crate mobile game called master summoner.

Other than this month’s collector pin, that’s about it. I received my Loot Crate before it was scheduled to be shipped so we’re still a few days away from finding out what October’s theme will be. We’ll update the article as soon as we know.
