Xbox Boosts Indie Developer Exposure With Instant Indie Collection: Vol 1

I’ll be the first to admit, it’s not only hard to keep up with all the indie games coming to the Xbox One through the ID@Xbox program, it’s easy to glance over them and not give them a fair chance. Xbox has been trying to push the ID@Xbox program a bit more recently and have just published the Instant Indie Collection: Vol 1 to the Xbox store.

The collection aims to give gamers the opportunity to pick up three titles from the ID@Xbox program for a reduced price. The first volume, and if the title is any indication it won’t be the last, contains Stealth Inc 2The Swapper, and Thomas Was Alone.

“Sneak through the shadows of the mysterious PTi facility in Stealth Inc 2, explore the depths of abandoned space station in the award winning The Swapper and make new friends in puzzle platformer Thomas Was Alone. This Instant Indie pack is the perfect starter pack for exploring indie on Xbox, representing over 20 hours of some of the most well-known and well loved indie games available on console. This Pack includes: Stealth Inc 2, Thomas Was AloneThe Swapper

Hopefully collections like these become more commonplace and serve to draw more attention to some of the often overlooked fantastic indie games available on the Xbox One.

If purchased separately, these three games would set you back $35.97. The collection is priced at $21.99, which saves you just under $14 which is a 61% savings.

Do you think these Indie Collections are a good idea? Does it entice you to pick up a three pack of games you might not have purchased individually before? Let us know in the comments below, or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
