With Christmas and the holidays just around the corner, Netflix has released what’s New on Netflix Canada — and what’s leaving — for January a bit early. With some pretty big titles leaving the streaming service next month, now’s the time to catch them before they’re gone. If you use Netflix US, be sure to check our New on Netflix US list for January.
Without further ado, let’s see what Netflix has in store for us next month!
Netflix Originals
There’s a few Netflix Originals hitting the service next month, starting with a comedy special titled Tom Segura: Mostly Stories on January 8th. The bearded, bawdy and comically bitter Tom Segura gets real about body piercings, the “Area 51” of men’s bodies, and the lie he told Mike Tyson.
Young adults who have read Cassandra Clare’s Mortal Instruments series of her The Shadowhunter Chronicles are sure to tune in to Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments, a TV series adaptation of the popular novels which previously spawned a movie back in 2013. In the series, a teen finds out on her 18th birthday that there is a world hidden within our own where angelic Shadowhunters protect humanity from unseen demons. Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments season one will start streaming on January 13th in Canada with new episodes being released weekly to coincide with the show’s run on ABC Family in the US.

The fourth season of Ever After High: Dragon Games will stream at the end of the month, with new episodes available on January 29th.
