KUKE Gives Your iPhone Extra Storage And Power

|

Alright, I admit, we write a lot about power cases and cases around here, we review a lot of them too. But this time we have a pretty interesting Indiegogo to share with you that looks rather promising, meet the KUKE power and storage case. This case not only gives your iPhone an extra 2400mAh battery but it also gives you an extra 16/32GB of storage for media and files. Most smartphone users find themselves always having to plug-in for extra power or having to clear their photos and video for more storage, so this may be for you.

The KUKE looks like a nifty product but as someone who has reviewed dozens of cases and power cases I’d offer a few improvements on the design. I obviously don’t have one in my hand so going from the renders and videos the choice of shiny plastic should probably be reconsidered. People buy iPhones for their design and quality materials, the material being used here doesn’t breathe premium. KUKE would likely grab more eyes if the design matched the functionality. The branding on the back is a bit amateurish and should probably be changed, a more minimal branding perhaps on the side bumper would make more sense (maybe embossed without color). I do like that KUKE had managed to make this case super slim, even slimmer than Apple’s official power case and long time power case maker Mophie’s.

The product looks promising and if you want to buy into it you can hit the link below to support the Indiegogo campaign. Perhaps once the campaign is over KUKE will send us a review sample and we can give it the full once over for you here.

What do you think of KUKE? Is this something you’d consider supporting? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+, Facebook and Twitter.
