Drones have been all over the place lately, and everybody seems to want to get their hands on this technology. Parrot drones have been some of the best available in the consumer drone market for some time now, and Parrot has decided to get into the spirit of summer. Whether you’re a seasoned drone pilot, or someone looking to get their very first drone, Parrot drones have declared that “It’s Flying Season.”
With the weather finally starting to warm up (at least in our neck of the woods) people will be spending more time outdoors. What better way to jump right into summer than by taking your very own drone out for a spin? Parrot wants to help you get started with some deals on drones running from today (May 6th, 2016) through July 4th. During that time you’ll be able to get from $30 – $100 off select Parrot drones via select retailers and on Parrot’s website. The available deals are as follows:
- $30 off on all Minidrones (new generation; except Rolling Spider and Jumping Sumo)
- $50 off on AR.Drone 2.0, Bebop, Bebop2, ‘Bebop drone + Skycontroller’, Skycontroller
- $100 off on ‘Bebop2 + Skycontroller Black Edition’
Don’t forget, if you’re buying your very first drone (and are living in the US) you’ll want to be sure to register with the FAA. Another important note for those that may see more drones flying around, don’t shoot them down. Parrot just wants you to get in on the fun of flying your own drone, and have offered some discounts to help make that happen.
“Flying a leisure drone should not be reserved for elite or expert pilots. It is our belief at Parrot that everyone be able to pilot a drone and we’ve developed a range of compact, lightweight and robust drones which are all easy to control with a smartphone, “ says François Ruault, Sales & Marketing Director at Parrot. “With Flying Season, we wish to blow a wind of ingenuity before summer! With the ambition of creating a recurring moment in the year where giving a new dimension to your games, to your time with others, to your memories… is possible and accessible.”
