Leaked images may show off the ASUS Zenwatch 3

|

Even though smartwatches aren’t a big thing in the world these days, manufacturers are still going to make them and offer an updated version of the previous generation for those that do enjoy using smartwatches like me. Leaked images that could be the ASUS Zenwatch 3 have surfaced just after the rumors of the watch being round.

As you can tell from the image above, it’s not the best quality, but it definitely let’s us know what the watch could look like if all the rumors are true about the device having a round face like the Moto 360 and Samsung Gear S2/Classic. What may be sticking out to you first is going to be the three buttons, which at this point could do anything we think of until the watch is unveiled, but one of them is most likely the back or select button or may even be used for navigating around the user interface.

It looks like the watch is stainless steel and possibly dual toned. It doesn’t look like the watchbands can be replaced and remind me of the band that Samsung has on their Gear S2 [sport], which can be changed, but only with specific bands offered by Samsung. If this is true, then changing out these bands may be more difficult than it needs to be. It’s hard to tell (obviously), but the band looks to be either leather or rubber.

Lastly, since this is a leaked image, you should know to take it with a grain of salt until ASUS fully announces its next Zenwatch maybe at IFA in September this year. What are your thoughts about the next ASUS Zenwatch being round? Is it more appealing that the last two generations?
