Plug portable battery pack charges almost anything you can throw at it

|

With all the devices some people carry these days, battery packs are definitely a booming market. But what about the larger electronics in your life? ChargeTech Enterprises, based out of New Jersey, has launched an Indiegogo campaign for what they claim is the world’s most powerful battery pack — Plug.

While most battery packs have enough juice to charge your smartphones or tablets a few times over (we’ve reviewed a couple in the past with over 20,000mAh capacity), that’s about all they can charge due to the cable connections they have on board. With Plug however, you not only get 48,000mAh of portable electricity, you also get 1 USB Type-C port, 2 Fast Charge USB ports, and 2 AC outlets capable of up to 250 Watt capacity.

So just what can you charge with Plug? With two AC outlets, pretty much anything and everything and ChargeTech has provided a handy little graphic to show what you can charge, and how many charges you can expect to get from Plug.

The portable battery pack also features pass-through charging so you can use it to power your devices while recharging it at the same time. In addition to having a dedicated recharging port, Plug can also be purchased with a solar panel for life off the grid which would make it a great accessory for camping and other activities where a plugin to recharge the battery pack is scarce.

Plug is currently sitting at over $200,000 in funding (almost 675% of their funding goal) with a month left in the campaign. Plenty of Early Bird perks are still available, and will net you one of these power packs for only $199USD. What do you think about Plug? Is it something you’ll be backing?
