Xerox has introduced a pair of new printers — the Xerox Phaser® 6510 color printer and Xerox WorkCentre® 6515 color multifunction printer — with the goal of putting “big business capabilities” within reach of small businesses.
Both printers offer easy setup and high-productivity tools, while the MFP has a 5-inch app-based touchscreen that includes editing features, scan preview, workflow customizablity, and intuitive navigation. The new printers also allow users to connect from any device, enabling printing from tablets and mobile phones, as well as other devices.
“Until now, the options for small business printing have been mostly products with marginal capabilities, limiting the types of jobs small businesses can manage on their own,” said Tracey Koziol, senior vice president, Office and Solutions Business Group, Xerox. “The market has been waiting for affordable, high-powered products like these.”
Alongside the new printers, Xerox has also released their new Super-Fine EA toner (debuting in the Phaser 6510 color printer and WorkCentre 6515 color MFP) which creates more detailed and accurate print jobs.
The key features offered by Xerox’s Phaser 6510 color printer and WorkCentre 6515 color MFP, which are designed to print letter/legal size paper, include:
- Wi-Fi Direct® connectivity for secure printing from mobile phones and tablets;
- Easy mobile printing with Apple® AirPrint™, Google Cloud Print™, Xerox Print Service Plug-In for Android® and Mopria®;
- Multiple scan-to destinations including email, FTP, a corporate network or the printer’s built-in USB 3.0 port, with the ability to send to multiple destinations in a single scan job;
- Cloud connectivity for scanning and printing directly to and from the cloud with Xerox Mobile Link;
- Monthly duty cycle of 50,000 pages and print speeds of up to 30 pages per minute;
- Two-sided, single-pass scanning at up to 37 impressions per minute; and
- 1200 x 2400 native dpi offers unparalleled color reproduction and brilliant output.
The Phaser 6510 color printer and WorkCentre 6515 color MFP are now available. The Phaser 6510 color printer starts at a suggested retail price of CDN $399 and the WorkCentre 6515 color MFP starts at a suggested retail price of CDN $559.
