Xur’s back and is offering some good exotics if you don’t currently have them, but if you don’t need them, that’s ok because if you haven’t been reading up on anything Destiny related recently, you might like this. Bungie will be offering a Hot Fix update next month that has been much needed for some time, and this update includes aligning the potency of Primary Weapons with surgical changes, promoting alternatives and counters to Shotguns, and more. Bungie will speak more about this update before it’s actually pushed out, but some fans may be happy to know that shotguns are going to be balanced.
Xur is currently located at the Tower again, but instead of being where he was last week, this week you’ll find him down by the Vanguards. To reach Xur, head to the Tower and once there, walk straight until you reach the Vanguards. Look off to the right side and you can’t miss Xur.
This weekend Xur is selling:
- Legacy Heavy Weapon Engram – 29 Strange Coins
- The Glasshouse (helmet) for Titan Class – 13 Strange Coins
- Graviton Forfeit (helmet) for Hunter Class – 13 Strange Coins
- Claws of Ahamkara (gauntlet) for Warlock Class – 13 Strange Coins
- Zhalo Supercell (auto rifle) – 23 Strange Coins
Xur is also offering the usual upgrade to your Sparrow, which includes the Plasma Drive or the Void Drive for 23 Strange Coins. There’s also Heavy Ammo Synthesis for 1 or 3 Strange Coins, Glass Needles for 3 Strange Coin/3 Mote of Light/1 exotic shard, a Mote of Light for 2 Strange Coins, Exotic Shard for 7 Strange Coin and Three of Coins is available for 7 Strange Coin.
As I mentioned before, if you don’t need anything from Xur this time around, passing this opportunity is fine, but it’s the Hot Fix update that most people are probably really waiting for.
