FollowGrams Smart Trace & Draw Projector looks like hours of fun for your kid

FollowGrams is a new Kickstarter project that brings the power of a projector to help kids learn. Not only can little ones learn how to draw by tracing, but FollowGrams can also be used to teach letters and numbers. The projector is recommended for kids 5 and up and is supposed to help develop fine motor skills.

FollowGrams is the only smart projector that magically teaches kids how to draw, just like a professional sketch artist! In addition, kids can learn how to write letters and numbers too! The first thing we worked on is connecting the projector to our app. It works with any smart device (via Bluetooth connection) which allows a child to take a picture of anything and then turn that picture into a traceable image. The child can take a picture of ANYTHING or ANYONE, apply any of several filters available in the app, and FollowGrams will project the desired image onto paper. The budding artist will trace and draw a masterpiece!

Then we remembered how we learned to draw from the old sketch books back in the 70’s and 80’s. We thought, “why not allow kids to learn from the same STEP-BY-STEP experience?” But we infused the process with a little techie update to bring it closer to 2020 by equipping the projector with an internal micro-SD card. All those Step-by-Step images are now digitally available on a memory card!

The project just started on Kickstarter and has already raised $3,200USD of its $20,000USD goal with 44 days to go. The project will only be funded if it reaches its goal so be sure to share if you back the project. You can find the project at the link below.
