As part of the Xbox Live Gold Free Play Days, gamers will be able to experience the full version of Battlefield 1 with a limited trial being made available for PC gamers as well. Unfortunately, this leaves PlayStation 4 gamers sitting on the sidelines.
Xbox One gamers can play starting at 9AM PT tomorrow, March 3rd, and play through March 5th at 11:59PM PT. The game isn’t limited in any way, shape, or form, and as is the norm for Free Play Days offerings on the Xbox One, Gamerscore and Achievements can be earned, and save game data will carry over to the full retail version if you choose to buy it later. Speaking of purchasing, the game also happens to be on sale as part of the EA Publisher Sale currently taking place. Fortunately, the sale extends to the PlayStation 4 as well and gamers across all three platforms can save up to 50% on the Battlefield 1 Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate editions.
The free trial for PC will be a bit different, and PC gamers won’t have access to the full game. Instead, the Battlefield 1 Origin Open Trial can be played between 5AM PT on March 3rd through 10AM PT on March 6th. The trial will include the first two War Stories of the single-player campaign, as well as access to 4 multiplayer modes and 5 multiplayer maps. The EA post indicates the PC Origin Open Trial will be limited to 10 hours of play time.
