Season 4 of Fortnite is still going strong and it’s time for the Fortnite Season 4 Week 5 challenges. This week gamers are tasked with getting a trap elimination, staying alive long enough in the storm circle, getting assault rifle kills, and more.

There are seven challenges this week and the first challenge for Week 5 is to deal 500 damage to opponents while using an SMG. This is nothing new to those challenge seekers out there, but it’s still going to be a challenge if you’re not able to get an SMG. The second challenge is to search 7 chests in Dusty Divot. The third is to use a vending machine three times. The fourth and last challenge before the hard challenges is to dance with others at Loot Lake to raise the disco ball. As easy as that may seem, people will be dancing to help out, but we all know there will be those kinds of folks who will end up ruining the challenge by shooting you down. The best bet is to team up and form a squad to complete the challenge.

Now for the more difficult challenges for Season 4 Week 5. First up is to follow the treasure map that’s found in Greasy Grove. Next up is to get two (2) elimination while using either a Minigun or a Light Machine Gun. Neither of these is necessarily hard if you can get some opponents in a base. Last, you’ll need to eliminate three opponents in Lucky Landing. With everyone already landing there, it’s going to be easy to get this challenge done faster than the others if you can pick up a weapon.

Week 4 challenges

  • Deal damage with SMGs to opponents (500): 5 Battle Stars
  • Search Chests in Dusty Divot (7): 5 Battle Stars
  • Use a Vending Machine (3): 5 Battle Stars
  • Dance with others to raise the Disco Ball near Loot Lake: 5 Battle Stars
  • Hard: Follow the treasure map in Greasy Grove: 10 Battle Stars
  • Hard: Minigun or Light Machine gun eliminations (2) : 10 Battle Stars
  • Hard: Eliminate opponents in Lucky Landing (3): 10 Battle Stars

Check back next week to see what Epic Games has in store for all those who are like getting challenges done first and then taking out enemies and claiming victory as the last one standing.
