If you recall, a couple months back we got our first look at the new Harry Potter LEGO sets that would be coming out later this year in August. Well, that time frame has moved up a month and according to the LEGO website, these new sets will be coming out on July 1st, which is right around the corner. As for today, LEGO has officially announced that they will be adding Harry Potter minifigures to their Minifigure Series which will go on sale August 1st.
Of course, you’ll get the boy who lived, Harry Potter, along with his best mates Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. You can’t forget other characters from the books such as Neville Longbottom, Draco Malfoy, Dobby, and more. With Fantastic Beasts coming out with its second movie, you’ll be happy to know that there will be a Newt Scamander Minifigure and others from the series. Each figure will be sold for $3.99USD at local toy stores or at LEGO’s stores and online.
There are 22 total figures announced as of right now but no word as to if there will be more being added at a later date.

- Additionally, from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: Newt Scamander, Jacob Kowalski, Tina Goldstein, Queenie Goldstein, Credence Barebone, and Percival Graves.
I’m still super stoked that Lego is bringing back the Harry Potter sets that I used to build and now with there being a Minifigure series, you can add them to your sets and act out your favorite Harry Potter scenes.
