If you’re an ARK: Survival Evolved modder or have been thinking about trying your hand at it, the third ARK: Survival Evolved modding contest is now on! With $28,000 in cash prizes to be won, the grand prize winner will take home a cool $15,000.
Players who have purchased ARK can begin modding immediately! Follow the “How To Mod” tutorial to get started, then join the ARK community, participate in the Unreal Engine ARK Modding forum, and find content in the Unreal Engine Marketplace. Modders can then share their creations with the ARK player community using Steam Workshop.
The contest will be accepting entries for the next five weeks at the Modding Contest website. The website will also be updated hourly once the two-week voting phase begins. If you’re looking for some inspiration, check out the video below showcasing some popular ARK: Survival Evolved mods.
Studio Wildcard encourages mod authors can work as a team or solo and everything from Maps, Total Conversions, Extensions, or Feature Mods are eligible for the current modding contest.
